Welcome to Rita Lab!
We're excited to introduce ourselves as the new and improved version of Rita Creative Lab, and to give you a sneak peek at what's to come. Our mission at Rita Lab is to make tech more diverse and inclusive by supporting diverse career seekers and promoting inclusive practices for technologists and designers. To achieve this, we offer a range of resources, events, and other opportunities for aspiring technologists and designers.
So, what is Rita Lab all about? Here's a breakdown of our five main offerings:
It's been an incredible year for Rita Lab. We've had a great turnout for our seminars, with many attendees learning valuable skills and knowledge on inclusive practices in tech and design. We've also had a number of amazing seminars covering a wide range of topics, all focused on helping aspiring technologists and designers succeed.
In addition to our seminars, we've also had many valuable events on Discord, with many attendees learning from our guest speakers and networking with other aspiring technologists and designers.
Overall, it's been a fantastic year for Rita Lab and we're excited to see what the future holds. Especially since Rita Lab is just one of three upcoming Rita initiatives. While we can't reveal too much at this point, we can say that these initiatives are all focused on helping aspiring technologists and designers succeed in their careers and make a positive impact in the world.
Why the rebranding from Rita Creative Lab to Rita Lab? We made this change to better position these initiatives and to allow for future expansion and growth. By dropping the "creative" from our name, we're creating space for other Rita sibling initiatives that will be announced soon.
We hope you'll join us on this journey as we work to make tech more diverse and inclusive. Whether you're just starting out in your career or you're an experienced technologist or designer looking to make a change, we're here to support you and help you succeed.
Stay tuned for more updates on the future of Rita Lab and the other Rita initiatives. Happy New Year!
